Go to my Goldeneye 007 review
The Nintendo 64 system has a lot of great games but Goldeneye 007 really stands
out. You are 00 agent James Bond and are on a mission to save the free world.
Alec Trevelyan has stolen the Goldeneye satellites and threatens to use them.
You need to work through every mission in this shootem up action thriller
while completing objectives. It can be very difficult at times and is well worth
the money. Buy it.
This is the section in which all the secrets and glitches for Goldeneye can be viewed. Most of these glitches require all guns and 007 mode to work.
If you are playing with four players in multiplayer mode and you all kill each other at the same time a few times, you will see "Quad kill, d'oh" on the end screen when you quit.
In the Archives, go to the windows on the middle floor. (The one in between the ceiling and last floor with Miskin) Shoot out the window and slowly exit it. If you do it slow enough, you can see the outside. If you go further you can see the night sky.
In the Runway, destroy the plane. If you do it right (don't fully destroy it) you can kneel down and walk inside.
Also, walk up to those things coming out of the ground when you first come out of the facility and use the grenade launcher to fire grenades into it. The grenades will disappear.
Turn on slow animation and turbo mode. Go to the end of the train and open the door to Alec's car without them seeing you. Now if you do this right, you can get beyond the barrier that blocks you in the car that looks like it is coated with metal. This barrier is not the one in the final car, but the one that closes behind you when you shoot Ouromov. Take aim, fire a shot into the room (it doesn't have to hit anyone) and then run to where you came into the metal car. If you do it fast enough then the door will close right behind you.
Use two shotguns at once and fire them at the same time. If you hit a guard a few times, it will make a big noise.
In the depot, there are some cool spray paint images on the sides of the metal crates. I found one of the Rare logo near the end of the level on a wall.
If you pile up the modem things in the dam, the rocket launches won't have any ammo even though it says that they do.
Scientists and guards can be shot in the ass and they will jump in the air.
In Streets, if you run over the jeep with the truck you can still shoot the windshield. If you have 007 mode, and the enemy damage is up to 1000%, the guards can shoot the hostages if they get in the way of the gunfire. There is a line in the street near the end of the level.
If you ring the alarm at the helicopter pad in the first surface a few times and look at the symbols for the mines they will be all messed up. If you plant mines near the containers with the skull on them the mine turns into a skull. This works with almost everything in the level. If you look at the taser (if you have all weapons) the picture will be all screwed up.
If you have the double throwing knifes, throw them in the air about 50 times. After that the sound that comes out of every gun is messed up.
If you have infinite ammo and are playing in the frigate, take out the tracking bug and you can build up a whole row of them. You can do this with remote mines too.
In the runway, take out the sniper rifle and use it on the platform that looks out to the runway. If you move it up and down and men look like they are running on air. All the stationary objects are movable now.
In Statue Park, take out the sniper rifle and go to the far right side of the huge gate at the beginning of the level, you can hear the helicopter, use the sniper rifle and then you can see it.
Above a door in the facility, there is a bond symbol and it is crossed out.
Before jumping off the dam, position Bond so that he is looking down and hold it. Then jump, on the bottom you will see the entrance to the facility.
In the control center, you can shoot a rocket at the Alec from a distance and his elevator will stay open. It closes faster than most elevators in the game.
In the frigate there is a secret door. You need to be tiny Bond and kneel down. Walk off the steps and you will be in mid air. You will see a door and you can open it. Another door is beyond that one but you fall before you reach it.
If you die in the air vent in facility, the cut scenes that follow will show that the surrounding area is all green.
In the Bunker with the computers hanging above the main room, you can plant remote mines in between where they all meet. Do this to both and then blow them up. Every thing that you throw or launch should stick in mid air.
There is a room in the train will a bed and pillow. It is normally locked but I found it when it wasn't. It is near the end of the train.
If you let Alec see you in the bottling room of the facility and then leave he will say something like "we have a lob to do" when you go back he will say "decided to come back eh". If you have it on 1000% enemy heath, shoot him and then leave. He should follow you anywhere. I got him up to the bathroom.
If you turn on DK mode and shoot off on of the guards hats, it will be huge. Try it with paintball mode.
If you enter the caverns with bond invisible, Alec stands still. He will not die no matter what you do.
If you avoid Boris in the Control center by staying close to the left wall and going up the stairs, you can shoot him when Natalya is done with the satellite. She won't care either.
This is a long code -- 10 steps -- and may take a few tries to enter properly. You can do this code anywhere, but it's best to do it on the Multi-Player Character Select screen while looking at the last available character (Mishkin or Moonraker Elite). Then:
1. Hold the L and R Buttons and press C-Left.
2. Hold the L Button and press C-Up.
3. Hold the L and R Buttons and press Left on the digital Control Pad (NOT the Control Stick).
Note: Doing this will select a different character on-screen. This is supposed to happen.
10. Hold the L Button and press Down on the Control Pad.
Now you should have 64 Character to choose from in Battle Mode.Goldeneye Challenge 1: Can you make it through a whole level while completing all the objectives and all the options on 007 mode are all the way up? Remember, no cheating!
Goldeneye Challenge 2: Can you make it to the back of Alec's train before he closes the door? It is nearly impossible. Send me a picture if you can. I would love to see it.
